Overview

edge Summit is a business platform designed to connect Hong Kong companies with growth opportunities across ASEAN. Aello is a co-founder of the edge Summit platform, driving the strategy behind its flagship market moments and building both the on-the-ground experience and the media narrative around them across Hong Kong and Indonesia.

Flagship Events

edge Summit has delivered three flagship gatherings to date. The series opened with the Hong Kong–Indonesia Digital Economy Summit in Jakarta, a day focused on cross-border digital economy opportunities between the two markets, backed by government and chamber-level support and amplified through strong bilingual media coverage across Indonesian and Hong Kong outlets. It continued in Hong Kong with "Building Your Edges: Tech-Forward Ventures in ASEAN," staged with Oracle NetSuite and exploring how Hong Kong businesses can use cloud ERP systems, startup support programs, and venture capital to expand into ASEAN — coverage followed across major Hong Kong media including Hong Kong Economic Times (經濟日報), Sina Hong Kong, TVB (730), BINNOVATOR, and Media OutReach Newswire. Most recently, edge x DBS brought the community together in Hong Kong for an intimate luncheon format, deepening relationships within the platform's core network of companies expanding across the region.

Results

  • edge Summit x Oracle NetSuite, Hong Kong — supported by Cyberport, Gobi Partners, and ONE Pacific, with 35 companies participating

  • edge x DBS, Hong Kong (2025) — a 100-pax luncheon with corporate representatives, and Consul General of Indonesia, Hong Kong as the keynote speaker, alongside senior executives from DBS Bank

Across all three editions, edge Summit has combined hands-on event curation with a coordinated PR push — turning each gathering into a multi-market moment that reinforces Hong Kong's positioning as a launchpad into ASEAN.
