Overview

EcoPark is a sustainable packaging company producing 100% decomposable bamboo products — cups, cutlery, bowls, and food packaging — already supplying hundreds of F&B outlets across Hong Kong. With that home-market success established, EcoPark set its sights on Indonesia, aiming to bring its sustainable packaging solutions to one of Southeast Asia's largest F&B markets.

Rather than a direct-to-consumer or e-commerce play, this was a B2B market entry: getting EcoPark's products into the hands of the F&B chains that would use them at scale.

Approach

We supported EcoPark's Indonesia entry by identifying potential F&B chain brands as target partners and facilitating the negotiations needed to bring those partnerships to life — connecting a Hong Kong sustainability brand with the right on-the-ground F&B players in a new market.

Why It Mattered

For a sustainable packaging company, market entry isn't just about brand awareness — it's about securing the right commercial relationships with F&B operators who will actually adopt the product across their outlets. By focusing on partner identification and negotiation, this engagement helped EcoPark build the commercial foundation for a genuine, sustainable presence in Indonesia rather than a one-off placement.
